Located in the heart of Europe, the Czech Republic is bordered by Austria, Poland, Germany and Slovakia. From the Šumava mountain range to the vallys, rivers, and lakes, the Czech Republic is abounds in a wild variety of scenery. Suburbs are non existent (villages populate most areas outside the metropolis), so once you leave the big cities, all that remains is the beautiful country-side.

The Czech people are quiet and mostly keep to themselves. Most are not very welcoming to foreigners, due to foreigner rule through-out their long history. Quiet, respectful tourists are always appreciated, and a small effort in using the Czech language goes a long way.
